What it is
HPV vaccines protect against the human papillomavirus types that cause most cervical cancers and genital warts, and some other cancers. Gardasil 9 covers nine HPV types, Gardasil four, and Cervarix two.
What the price includes
Prices are per dose and include the injection fee. A full course often needs more than one dose. People who start at 15 or older usually need three doses; younger starters often need two.
Health insurance
Korea’s National Immunization Program offers HPV vaccination free to eligible young people; ask a public health centre (보건소) whether you qualify as a foreign resident. Adults outside the programme pay these prices.

Is the prefilled syringe different from the vial?
The vaccine is the same; only the packaging differs. HIRA lists them separately because they are separate products.
