What it is

Inlays and onlays repair a tooth that is too damaged for a simple filling but not damaged enough to need a crown. They are made in a lab (or with a CAD/CAM machine) and bonded into the tooth. An inlay fills the inside of the chewing surface; an onlay also covers one or more cusps.

What the price includes

Prices are per tooth. CAD/CAM ceramic restorations are milled in the clinic, often in a single visit.

Health insurance

Inlays and onlays are non-covered dental work in Korea.

Questions

Inlay or resin filling?

For small cavities a resin filling is cheaper and done in one visit. Inlays last longer on large cavities in back teeth. Compare both pages for the price difference.
